ANTHONY KASPER Fokuz
Anthony Kasper, more commonly known by just his surname, is a Minneapolis based producer, DJ, and label manager with Fokuz Recordings. The 27-year-old has been DJing and crafting beats for nearly a decade. His catalogue boasts 13 vinyl releases and 70+ digital releases via Fokuz, V Recordings, and other noteworthy labels. Since 2016 he has completed 2 USA tours covering 10 states, and 1 European tour covering 13 countries – including playing at Let It Roll festival, one of the largest EDM festivals in the world. Selected by DJ Mag as one of the top up and coming US Drum and Bass producers, Anthony’s music is frequently supported by heavy weights like Friction, Technimatic, DJ Marky, Bryan G and Random Movement and on BBC Radio 1. Kasper also hosts the popular Fokuz Recordings Podcast on a monthly basis.
On the Minneapolis circuit, he is a full time professional DJ. His versatile style draws influence from the funk, soul, and jazz records he grew up listening to. In 2012 he was named Red Bull DJ Master at the U of M battle. You can find him regularly performing at nightclubs, opening up for international acts like Noisia and Pendulum, and in the stadiums for Timberwolves, Vikings, Lynx and Golden Gopher home games. Whether its a trendy rooftop or an underground club night, Anthony Kasper’s got the selection and skill to set the vibe right.
Joe Loweth aka Westin has been a fixture of the Twin Cities DnB scene for over 15 years. As curator and resident DJ of the legendary Mode nights at Honey, he has distinguished himself with a distinct blend of liquid tranquility and hard-edged, dystopic breaks. Ever with an ear to the street, Westin delivers fresh sets filled with pleasant surprises and crucial vibrations.
