Cortez takes control of your soul and allows you to lose yourself in the music. Every set comes correct, stuffed with essential vibes. With such a rich history of legendary sets and residencies and a wealth of music depth unlike any other- we’re all in for a serius werk-out sesh!

David Stromdahl truly is Mr. Lucky- as he’s spent most of his adult life surrounded by records both at home and on the job. David first threw two records together during the Reagan administration. Since then he has rocked spots all over the North Star State under names such as Mr. Mom and Mr Lucky and 20,000 Leagues Under the Scene. He has been a prominent figure in the music circuit for many years, including DJ appearances at First Avenue and countless other clubs, lounges and underground parties around the state. David was honored with an invite to open for the Pet Shop Boys on their last swing through town. He was a founder and co-owner of the legendary and dearly departed Bassment Records and is still turning people on to new sounds daily. David sold more than a few local DJ veterans their first records at the Electric Fetus in the late 80’s and Let it Be in the early 90’s. Often spotted in the company of DJ Fun Size, David can throw down a jaw dropping set in any genre you bring to the table. From top 40 hits to the ultra rare and obscure; if it’s good, it’s in his collection. The depths of his crates are only matched by his skills on the wheels of steel.
